I needed to set something on the VSE classpath to look for updated jar files in a particular location.
there was some 'pre' on the classpath.. can't find that topicc now.. help!
finally found it,,
set the environment variable lisa_pre_classpath
to point to the JAR files.. : separated list if more than 1..
then restart workstation or vse.. more fun on linux as a service..
