Hi, I got a batch requirement in which I need help. We have box which should get skipped when the one particular job is in Activated state. Can anyone help on this. How to set dependency on this. Thanks.
Unfortunately there is no dependency check for ACTIVATED
for the condition field in a job definition for autosys.
For a listing of what is available please refer to the following
link to the documentation for the condition field.
Perhaps you might be able to instead use some autosys global
variable's value to determine if the job is able to run or not.
Otherwise you could simply put the job into a status ahead of time
so it does not run. Like on hold, on ice, or no exec.
Please see the following link for details on the events.
Could you tell which product it's related?
If you can select the proper category and subcategory in the future, the right people will be able to help you quicker.
Thanks for taking a look. This is related to Autosys(WCC). I am trying to set a dependency between two jobs, in which one should skip when the other is in Activated or Running status.
