Hi.

Has anyone noticed the following:

cdm version 5.71 requires vs2010sp1_vcredist_***

So far all good, but when updating to v. 5.71, the vs2010sp1 redistributable installation reboots the target machine without asking.

The cdm probe 5.71 has a dependency on the vs2010sp1_vcredist probe which deploys just like any other probe and does not result in a system restart.

Hi,

I saw the same behaviour. I deployed cdm v5.71 to 4 machines and all machines are rebooted without any warnings.

The vs2010sp1_vcredist_x86 will be installed with /q options for a silent installation. It is possible to use /norestart as optional option, but then you need to check the return code if a reboot is necessary.
