Hi, i want to now if there any way to monitoring pool JCA with CA APM on Jboss 6.4 and apm agent 10.1. I see it is possible in websphere, but i dont see nothing on Jboss.
You need to enable JMX data collection on the Agent, and specify a filter for your JCA connection pool.
For JBoss, you need to follow the instructions here https://docops.ca.com/ca-apm/9-7/en/implementing-agents/java-agent/install-the-java-agent/configure-application-server-to-use-the-java-agent/jboss
Under the “Enable the Reporting of JMX metrics”
Then you will need to make sure the following property is set to true in the Agent profile:
Controls collection of data from JMX MBeans; set to true to gather JMX data in the Introscope Agent. You must restart the managed application before changes to this property take effect.
Finally, you have to make sure that the line above contains matching words to find the JBoss JCA connection pool JMX counters (use a JMX explorer to find their names)
