Release Automation

This is the simplest script i could come up with, and have NEVER seen this error before.

using CARA 6.1.

Any ideas?

Did the agent installed using V6.1 binary?

If yes,  the agent probably using java 8 and we saw similar issues when using execute java script code action.

As I know fix should be release soon.

How do i fix this?  My customer project is DOA without it?

If you need it for single agent try to install the agent with v5.5.2  binary as temp solution.

Unfortunately, using the 5.5.2 agent is not an acceptable solution, since this is running on a CARA/CDE 6.1 server.

5.5.2 agent can work with RA 6.1.

One more thing

If you want you to use only agents running v6.1 you  can upgarde the agent to 6.1. The agent jre version will not be upgarde to jre 8. Only new agent installation will use jre 8

But i need the 6.1 agent to work with CDE 6.1......sigh.

Can i downgrade the JRE in the agent installation?

      As jackie mentioned RA 6.1 no longer requires you to upgrade the agents, so if you uninstall the agent and then install a 5.5.2 agent using the install media this agent can be registered and used with a RA 6.1 manager

     As an FYI we are posting a Hotfix update for RA 6.1 in the next few days and this will be 6.1.0.1051 which will include the following fix

    Execute javascript action fails on RA agents’  version 6.1 that runs JRE8

     This should address this issue.

    We are also working on a new notification service which you will be able to subscribe to so you will get email notifications when patches and updates are posted, i will post more details on this soon.
