The latest version of the tool - CA Test Data Manager - v3.6 - Does this new version support conversion of VSAM files to DB2 files?@
Would you provide some further clarification on what you mean by DB2 files? Are you asking whether the product will help you to convert VSAM files to DB2 table structures? Would you be able to provide an example of the capability you are looking for?
Thanks for getting back, Yes, Im looking at the ability of CA TDM V3.6 to convert VSAM flat files to DB2 table structures..
Thanks for the clarification. I will research further and get back to you on this.
CA TDM 3.6 does not have the ability to convert VSAM files to DB2 table structures.
TDM is about the management of Test data to facilitate development, not for the migration of data structures.
