  • 1.  Mailbox Configuration for Gmail/Yahoo Server in CA SDM 14.1.03

    Hi Team,

Is it possible to configure the Mailbox for Gmail/Yahoo server in CA SDM 14.1.03?

We want to implement creation/updation/closure of request/incident/problem/change whenever a user sends a mail to the mailbox.

If yes, kindly provide the value that needs to be provided for all the fields during mailbox configuration.

    Regards,

    Balram Singh Deswal

We use Google Apps for Business for our email and the imap port for gmail is 993.  From all of this documentation I am reading it appears that we will not be able to use Maileater with our 14.1 installation  as neither port 993 or 995 are supported.  Is this correct?

Have you tried to use the Port Override in the Mailbox definition?

Yes. I set the Email Type to IMAP4, hostname is imap.gmail.com and I have tried both port 993 and 143.  I am assuming 993 doesn't work because it is not supported in Maileater and then port 143 is not supported in gmail so that does not work either.
