Hi!, is there any way to create a desktop shorcut to live chat support in CA Service Desk Manager? like the "Service Desk Manager Web Client" shorcut in the CA folder program.
The url that can bring an "Employee" user directly to the Support Automation Live Chat entry screen is:
If you have Single Sign On enabled, they will be brought directly to the page, and will be able to enter the required information. If you do not have Single Sign On enabled the user will have to log in and then they will go to the page. It does not launch the exe directly from the url above, as the Employee user still needs to provide details prior to the session beginning.
The only important thing to note is that this is only going to work if the user is logging into ServiceDesk as an Employee based role. If they are logging in with an Analyst Role the screen may launch, but it's not going to work well because the analyst user isn't associated to an "End User" Support Automation Access Level.
