I want to know if it is possible to virtualize JDBC in LISA 7.5 for Oracle DB.
I was able to download the respective jars. Had to make some alterations in my username.
It is possible, although we discourage JDBC virtualization in general. See the note at the beginning of the following doc page:
I went through the link and got a way on how to proceed further.
However, I am not able to download the jars that are needed for JDBC virtualization it is asking me for a username and password, on giving my CA credentials I am still not able to download.
Could you please help on the same.
From which page are you trying to download the jars?
I am trying to download the jars from the following link.
SAP Portal Services
On this portal try using your LISA 7 license credentials. If your license credentials have the format of:
log in as username C/XYZ with password 123. This worked for me.
Could you please tell me what domains are present. Cause I don't remember in which domain was my account created in.
look up property laf.domain in your local.properties file of your LISA 7.x installation to find your domain.
I tried what you suggested above using my domain but I'm still not able to get through.
Ulrich's instructions look correct to me. At this point, I might suggest that you contact CA Support for more assistance.
Thank you, Jeff. That's, what I recommended offline. I should have mentioned it here as well.
Glad it worked out eventually.
