i have forget the service desk password during installation . where can i reset the password as i have not connected to active directory. no patches installed yet
If you mean the ServiceDesk OS user that is created during installation, you can simply reset the password at the OS level on the Service Desk server and then run pdm_configure. On the System Accounts page you can simply provide the new password and continue with the configuration.
Alternatively you can delete the user at the OS level and run pdm_configure supplying a password. This should re-create the ServiceDesk user in the OS with the assigned password.

there is no user created on OS level see the below screen shot
The issue is solved by creating manual user in the OS with the same password
