  • 1.  sym and ss_sym attributes in SOAP api

    Hi, i'm new to CA service management soap api, I found there are sym and ss_sym attributes, and what are sym and ss_sym, and any differences between them?

    ss_sym is self service symbol, thats the name that will be shown in employee interface

    Expanding on Gutis's response.

    ss_sym is the self-service symbol (name, visible value, the thing shown to users) that is shown for employee and customer roles in the self-service interface if the ss_include for the pcat is set. This enables you to have a descriptive name for the analysts while still having a simple (and possibly less sensitive) name for the end users without duplicating pcats.
