Hi Everyone,

1)Could you please let me know if I had created a custom monitor and assign it to a specific device once it is create can we delete or else can we edit it ???? ( Need your answer)

2) I had created a custom monitor for a specific device but it is not visible under Report --> Performance Reports (QOS)

    Do let me know how to achieve it??

We would need some additional information.

Did you create a custom monitor with an existing probe such as SQLServer?

Or did you create a custom probe with custom QOS?

If using a stock probe did you set it up to publish the QOS?

can you see the qos on the systems metrics tab?

can you run a PRD report for the metric?

I am talking about CA UIM Snap 8.31 which has inbuilt database.

In one of the firewall I had added snmp data monitoring in which there is an option of custom monitor for which I had added the specific OID values to monitor Cpu Usage and added the device to it.

But when I had checked the Reports I am not see the CPU usage monitor which I had created for it.

Also when I want to edit the same custom monitor I am not able to see the option for it.

If possible Gene you can give me a call for this.

The SNAP UIM product has it own user community that this might be better answered in.

I have not worked with snap in a very long time.

I know it is a very paired down version of the full UIM so it would not surprise me

if the custom QOS is not available in the reports.

Most of the things as I recall in snap were very basic and did not allow for full customization as the full product does.
