Hi guys,

Do someone know what does measure the metric JBoss > Backends > "System" in Introscope ?

In my JBoss backends I have 2 different metrics on same machine & port :

1# "System DB_IP on port 5432"

2# "jdbc%postgresql%//DB_IP%5432/DB_NAME"

I am sure the 2 Metrics display differents informations. I suspect the second metrics measure SQL query informations, but what does the first metric ? Thanks for your enlightening on this.

Can you share a screenshot so we can see the relative paths in relation to the nodes?  That would help us tremendously.

Hi,

1) This is a metric generated by the socket tracer

2) This is a metric generated by the SQLAgent tracer

Both tracers are independant.

When you have a backend call to a database, or a web service, if you have both tracers enabled, you'll have two metrics in the backend node.
