We are upgrading from 14.2 to 14.3 and the upgrade is failing with below error:

Error while comparing PPM and DWH versions. Check the checkinstall.log for before you continue. We are not using Data Warehouse. How we can skip the step for Data Warehouse connection.

You can but first and foremost the error is below and needs to be corrected in order to prevent further problems 

So you can run the below command to get to sync and then upgrade. 

admin db dwh-upgrade -Dupgrade.phase=maintenance

I am getting below message after running this command:

Info: The data warehouse could not be upgraded, the connection was unavailable or the data warehouse database has not been installed

Hi Piyush,

You need to login to CSA and ensure DWH is available, if its not then its bound to fail because there is no connectivity.

What was the solution to resolve this error. We are upgrading from 14.2 to 15.2 and getting the same error. Also we are not using the DWH setup in 14.2 in our instance. There should be some workarond to do the same.

We are also facing problem while upgrading from 14.2 to 14.4. Upgrade is failing while trying to install db driver for DWH.But we are not using datawarehouse.

How can we proceed with installation?

There is one way to skip the DWH set up. Go to Administration -> General Settings -> System Options.

Go to DataWarehouse options and remove Entity for Fiscal Periods. Click on Save. After this proceed with upgrade, Your upgrade should pass through.

And don't forget to input the same value post upgrade.

Fiscal Periods under DataWarehouse is already blank, still we are facing issue.
