Clarity filestore on app server vs Filestorage system on some other server

    Hi

    Currently we are storing clarity documents in Clarity Filestore which is on same server location where we have App server running.

    I have been asked to find the possibilities of storing the documents in different Filestorage system which is on some other server.

    May I know is it good idea to move this to outside the app server location and will it give me any performance benefit?

    Files storing within the app or outside the app doesn;t matter. Rather if the document storage is within the add you reduce the latency but if you have a good NAS storage then its worth putting the filesystem on the NAS
