What all prerequisites needs to be send to a SAP team before starting SAP monitoring using Sapbasis_AGENTIL probe in CA UIM monitoring tool?

This Agentil is planning on being replaced with a new probe from CA in the next 6-12 months I believe.

I have attached the latest agent guide I have for your review.

can someone please share the sapbasis_agentil probe configuratiuon guide??

Would the new sap_basis probe from CA available part of the Application and Server Pack like the other app probes or would this also need the SAP Pack license to use like the agentil probe?

The sapbasis_agentil is going to be replaced with newer probe in near future. However for reference you may use the attached document for sapbasis_agentil v5.21

Sap basis probe is a java software and in the configuration guide it is mentioned JRE version 1.6 need to be installed.

We have JRE version -1.4 in the system.
Will it suffice??

That is a reference to a probe, the java_jre probe must be deployed to the robot.

Please refer to the CA documentation for the probe referenced above for the requirements.

I went through the sap_basis agentil probe configuration guide,it is mentioned to install Java Runtime Environment version-1.6.

No where I found regarding java_jre prob.
Please guide me through this.

The UIM probes always use the Java JRE which is internal to the UIM Server, they do not use an external Java installation.

The Java JRE is installed internally to the UIM server by deploying the java_jre probe.

Otherwise there is no user documentation for this probe because it's not really a probe and not configurable - it is a "package" which installs the Java JRE locally to the \Nimsoft\jre\ folder in UIM, but does not appear as a running probe on the robot.   The only instructions necessary for this probe/package is that it should be deployed to any UIM hub/robot that is running a Java-based probe.

Access Requirements for SAP System User 

The probe requires certain user details with the following authorization details to connect to the SAP system (For ABAP Stack only).

Preferably, the user must have a SAP_ALL profile. Otherwise, a role is required to be created in the SAP system with the following access:

Authorization objects: S_RFC, S_XMI_LOG & S_XMI_PROD

After deploying sap_basis probe , all the SAP jobs of the system are not getting populated in the probe metrics.

What can be the solution??
