    Hi All,

Do we have log for snmptd probe that receives traps from different origins to UIM Server,

when we start snmptd browser then we can see that whether UIM received traps or not . if want to see past day traps how we will see if dont have snmptd browser started

Dr. Nimbus also not helpful here, we cant see past day logs i hope

    Regards

    Dear Rajani,

your only choice would be to increase the log level to 5 and logsize as well to capture more data in the snmptd.log. You will then see the incoming traps in the log and what the probe did with them (for example, it could be that traps are dropped as there is no trap profile for them, or they could be dropped as the community string is not monitored etc).

    Kind Regards,

I think this case be enabled via raw configure (shift + right click) then go to setup > snmptd_generic > log_trap edit to change to 'yes'.
