It sounds like you have NTLM enabled and something in Windows or perhaps internet settings is preventing the pass through authentication.  The following knowledge doc might help.

How to enable NTLM authentication in Process Automation and configure it to use an Alias in place of the Hostname?

To make sure this is the issue, you can set the ntlm setting (mentioned in this doc) to false and restart PAM to see if the prompt goes away.  This will, of course, prompt you for a login and password in the PAM interface but should get rid of the security prompt you are seeing.

    Hi,

Are you using Extenal LDAP Directory or internal user store on EEM?, open userstore configuration on EEM to view verify.

Try using pamadmin to login, user (pamadmin) and password (pamadmin) all lower case.

search users on EEM manage identities, see if you can find the users that cannot login.

login to your EEM server, verify that the EEM services (CA iTechnology iGaeway and CA Directory - itechpoz) are up and running.

    Thanks
