Hi, I create a resource using Administration / Resources page with basic user access level. Without giving any access rights (group, OBS units or other), I try to give this resource all project rights for a given project instance.

I log on the system with that user but from Home menu I cannot see projects portlet to view the project that the resource is given rights.

What may have gone wrong?

Resource will need have the global "Projects - Navigate" right to see the menu item

(I would usually expect that right to be on the "Basic group for user access" group that users get auto-added to these days)

Thank you, it worked. In fact the problem is that when I try to give a resource a project instance based access right, project - navigate access right is not available in the list. That is what I missed. It is available at global rights menu.

^ thats because it is not an instance based right it is a global one!
