  • 1.  You are added to a project

    Hi.

Some users are getting mails from CA PPM like:

    To: My mail ID

    From User: User1

You have been added to this Project: Project Name: Project1

    ID: PRJ-1

    Managed By: UserManager

To access the Project, click here.

Point is the recipient is not added in Team or participants and is receiving these mails in bulk.

It started when the user was added to a specific group with some OBS level rights. Can a particular right be responsible for this behavior?

    Regards,

    Uruj

Is the group added  as a participant group?

Rights only should have  not such effect if the system  is working as  designed.

    Hi Uruj,

There could be a possibility when users such as Project Managers, Delivery Managers, etc., who are already part of the Project may get such Email Notifications. However, I would also advice you to look through the Process that gets triggered when a Resource is added to a Project on CA Clarity PPM and check if there are any Resource Lists that are already present to receive Email Notifications when this Process executes.

    Suhail.

    Hi Suman,

Yes, I checked this template. But I am not added to this project.

    Hi,

Notifications stopped once I removed a particular group. So, this is confirmed that it is due to some particular access right. But which one, I am still investigating.
