Hi Team,

When I am trying to run the install.bat -r sample.properties -l install.log command on command pad the following error occurred:

Also find the attached sample.properties & install.log file for reference. Please help me to solve this issue.

Environment:

OS- Window server 2008 r2

JDK- 1.8

Apache Tomcat- 8.0.36

Database- mysql-installer-community-5.7.15.0

In the install.log file, there are the following relevant entries:

[2016-09-08 00:20:13,083] ERROR [InstallerLog] [validateWithDBname:89] - Unable to connect to mysql database
[2016-09-08 00:20:13,083] ERROR [InstallerLog] [validateWithDBname:90] - Exception :For input string: "mysql"
[2016-09-08 00:20:13,083] ERROR [InstallerLog] [validateWithDBname:91] - DatabaseServerMain returned with code :16299
[2016-09-08 00:20:13,083] INFO [InstallerLog] [main:202] - Preinstall check failed with following errors
[2016-09-08 00:20:13,099] ERROR [InstallerLog] [readerrorlog:291] - 16104: Incorrect Application Server Directory
[2016-09-08 00:20:13,099] ERROR [InstallerLog] [main:218] - 16299: Database Server Validation Failed

It looks like there is a typo in the sample.properties file:

dbPortOrInstance=mysql: 3306

Please remove the "mysql".

This is what is expected in the sample.properties file:

dbPortOrInstance=3306

Hi,

After successful installation an error as mentioned below about the license is received when attempting to access the JasperServer URL.

"License Failed.

After above setting getting same issue can you please help me out.
