  • 1.  CA UIM - Tunnel from Remote HUB to Proxy HUB through a internet proxy address

    Posted Sep 16, 2016 02:53 AM

Is there any mandatory requirement that internet proxy address should not be enabled on the remote hub server to create a SSL tunnel between the Remote HUB in customer environment and Proxy HUB  located at service provider location .

Will there be any issues of having internet proxy enabled on the Remote customer HUB when creating the SSL tunnel ?

Which is the recommended approach ?

    Please advice

Can you be a little more specific about what sort of proxy you're referring to?  Is it a Web proxy, e.g. where all requests to the internet must pass through the proxy server first?

In such a case I think you would likely experience connectivity issues.  Generally speaking, a tunnel client must be able to *directly* connect to the tunnel server without interference from network appliances in between.
