  • 1.  Provision Internal Services via Restman?

I'm looking for a way to provision an internal service programmatically, such as using restman to enable the Security Token Service. I know that two can be created using the bootstrapper process, but other than that, I'm at a loss at the moment.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

    Dean,

The RESTMAN service does not have the capability to publish internal services and as you have noted the auto provisioning only can publish the Gateway Management Service and Gateway REST Management Service. The Secure Token Service requires that additional decisions are made which will use different WSDL definitions. I would recommend that you publish it manually in a development environment with the Policy Manager wizard then use restman to export out the service. This will provide you with a snapshot of the service including the policy that you can then use on a newly created gateway environment.

    Sincerely,
