    Hi,

Is there any option that we can get spectrum alarm with OS information (not type :-) ).

For ex: When an alarm raised from Windows server, alarm should appear in one click console with OS information(Ex Windows server 2008 R2). kindly help to achieve this.

What SNMP agent are you using on these servers?  That's the only way Spectrum will know.

On SystemEDGE models, there's an osrel attribute that has this information:

There's a OneClick subview that has this information:  System Resources -> System -> OS and Boot Information but it's a fair amount of clicking to get there:

Depending on how you want this presented, you could build Global Collections based on this, copy this value into the Notes field, modify a OneClick view to expose this attribute in a more visible place, etc.

    Hi,

Thanks for information, will these steps make OS info visible in alarm row?

whenever alarm raised from any device, OS info should be presented in Alarm view.

    please help.

To add them to the alarm you’ll need to create custom alarm attributes:

As Jay states, you'll either need to create custom alarm attributes or you might be able to just customize the alarm table view and add in the osrel attribute there Other Customizations in Tables - CA Spectrum - 10.1 and 10.1.1 - CA Technologies Documentation  .  Either way, it's going to involve some XML work.
