    Hi,

I'm trying to install TIM in a VM with Cent OS 6.5, I'm using root profiler during the installation, but I got this error and I not able to continue:

Modify the firewall to open the TIM httpd server ports:

    ->1- Yes
    2- No

ENTER THE NUMBER OF THE DESIRED CHOICE, OR PRESS <ENTER> TO ACCEPT THE
    DEFAULT:readlink: missing operand
Try `readlink --help' for more information.

    Somebody know what's going on?

    Thanks in advance.-

Did you install all prerequisite packages on your server before trying to install TIM?

    Hi Osvaldo:

That is a supported release and pre-reqs sound right. Sounds  like something with selinux or the script. If you select NO. are able to complete the install and change this settings afterwards? Or the same error appears?

    Thanks

    Dear Osvaldo:

I think the best next step is to open a case and do a Webex to see the install found one issue that had the same error earlier in the install. That was related to the eula license file location and the TIM install binary file.

How are you invoking the TIM install file?

In the case that I mentioned, they used sh timInstall.bin instead it should be

    ./timInstall.bin

I am going to mark as answered since a case is the best next step. However, please feel free to add updates to this thread. If you wish to continue to post here, please add a Word Doc of the install and let us know how you are invoking the TIM Install binary. That will help determine if anything else can be done before opening a case

    Thanks

    Hal German

    Hi German,

You were right, I'm using the wrong command, now I'm running the install with "./" and it works.

    Thank you very much.-
