Plex 2E

  • 1.  Where is default function type set in Plex?

We recently had to restore our group model from backup and now Plex is defaulting all functions to external rather than internal.  This causes major headaches since we do not specify the type for standard functions like Get one instance.  So now when the function is generating Plex is assigning an implementation name to all internal functions so when the program runs it is looking for another program.

Does anybody know where this default is set?  We are using Plex 6.1

    Thanks.

    there is no such setting.

Think you need to look at your local model configuration  settings.

My guess is your get One Instance used to inherit the triple of function type internal but your current configuration does not implement this.

Open up an old local model and check the config window, check the get one instance properties...is it an internal?

Thanks George for pointing me to the local model configuration.  I had selected the wrong variant for OBASE.

I've been away from Plex for several years and am just now starting to use it again, feeling like a rookie :-)
