  • 1.  Devtest is taking long to start execution of test suite

    Devtest is taking long to start the execution of the test suite. On Right clicking the test suite, After clicking on Run on DCM <server registry name>,  execution is taking long to start. Any suggestions to fix this would be helpful.

    Hello - 

     

    I have a few questions - 

    Is it a large suite?  

    How many test cases are in the suite?  

    Exactly how long is it taking?  

    Are there any errors in the workstation.log file?

    Suite contains approx 16 test cases. it is taking around 3-4 mins to start the execution.No Error as of now

    Do the test cases have a large data suite?  Does it take long when you run locally?  The main causes to this symptom would be running larges test in parallel, having a large dataset within the test cases or having a large test suite.

     

    It is hard to tell what would be causing this without troubleshooting.  I think it would be best to open a support case for this.
