  • 1.  Suitable dataset for large data requirements

    Hi Team,

     

    We have a requirement where we need to provide large amount of data (approximately 4 lakh rows of data with an excel size of 10MB) to the virtual test. But we are not able to load the excel file in Dev Test due to large data.

     

    Could anyone please suggest which is a better external data set when large data needs to be handled.

    Are you using the DevTest Portal and the DDVSI feature where you are seeing issues loading this huge excel file? Also what version of DevTest?

    Hi Kousthub,

     

    We are not using Devtest Portal. We are trying to stage the test with 100 users and run it. We are using Devtest 9.1.

    Hello Yasaswani,

     

              Please let us know on the below.

     

    1. In the dataset, are you using individual field values or the entire request value?

     

    One option I can think of is to split the data set and have multiple test cases, which can be orchestrated to run in parallel or in serial mode using a test suite.
