    Hi All,

Recently we had an issue where people who were accessing UIM and UMP could not  log in using their LDAP login.  I went to the UIM security drop down of "manage access control list" and when I selected a group I got back an error saying LDAP couldn't be accessed.  I went to the HUB01 robot and restarted the entire robot and then it started working again, and people were able to login in using their LDAP credentials. Is there a specific probe I could have recycled which would have done the same thing without having to recycle the entire robot?

    TIA

    Patrick

I think it would be the "HUB" probe.

The hub probe is responsible for all security when dealing with LDAP.

The hub probe can not be restarted like other probes but making a change to logsize or loglevel will cause a restart of the hub probe which support uses regularly.

If you had the loglevel at 3 or higher when the problem and still have the logs from that time you will probably find your root cause in the hub.log files
