Is anyone calculating Portfolio Item Cycle/Lead time? As well as displaying in a cumulative flow? I'm sure I could code it against the lookback API but I hate to reinvent if someone has an alternative suggestion. Thanks in advance

Hi Benjamin, a few points to help you: - we use the standard app for cycle (from backlog to done) and lead time (from Defined to Accepted) - we use the standard CFD app too. - Nik Antonelli (Rally) helped us create a wonderful custom app to measure cycle time per state so we can focus our improvement activities where the bottlenecks are at which exact step of the process (this assumes you've got a better understanding of your processes beyond "backlog/WIP/done" however to be of any use. I'd say this is the one thing that gives you the most insight in how to improve the work done from any other feature in Rally. This is an absolute goldmine and something Rally really should use to their advantage from the competition! Happy to share the code if this helps.

Benjamen, Portfolio Items have Acutal Start/End dates, so you shouldn't need Lookback for LT. Anthony, I'd love to see the app. At the story level, this is really important info and should be a core Rally capability
