I would like to use this connector to connect to our Team Services project. In the tfs_config.xml file, in the TFSConnection seciton, Instance is required. However, instance is not a concept of VS Team Services. The connector uses serveral of the TFSConnection properties to build the URL to access the TFS API for projhect access. This URL is in the form of:

https://{server}:{port}/{instance}/{collection}/_apis/projects

But for a Team Services instance, the valid URL to access the list of projects does not include the instance portion of the URL. Is there a way around the requirement of a TFS instance?

We added support for VSTS with our connector that supports TFS 2017, so we recommend upgrading to TFS 2017 to take advantage of the support of VSTS.
