So for production we have seen that profiler tracing should not be on and confirmed from CA that performance can be negatively impacted.

My question is, we were thinking about setting EnableEnhanceTrace = 0x1; so that we can get better audit logging of changes being made in the WamUI.  We've tested the output and it does appear to do what we need.

The question is, does anyone have any data one way or the other whether this logging can also negatively impact production performance?  We would be logging to text files and just saving them for audit purposes when needed.  We are running 12.51 CR1.

More I/O  = Decrease in Performance.

However, I don't have exact data of how much % will this translate to.

You can test this yourself by running some controlled load test lets say for 5 minutes with and without Enhanced tracing and comparing the Throuput. It's preety straightforward.
