  • 1.  Getting error while running test cases in HP ALM

    Hi Everyone,

     

    I'm getting 'Run-time error [1420] : Item does not exist.' error while running a test case in HP ALM. I have attached the detailed error log as well. To find the root cause of the issue, I validated the DB manually, which I'm validating as part of the automation script, to check if the script was run by HP ALM or not and it  was run successfully. It looks like ALM has run the test case successfully even though it throws item does not exist error. I'm not sure why exactly this error is occuring. It is happening with other test cases as well. Can you please help me to resolve the issue?

     

    Configurations:

     

    DevTest Version - 9.1(64 bit)
    HP ALM Version - 12.2
    ALM Plugin - DevTestALMPlugin-x64
    IE- 64 bit

    You will need to open a support case to get an updated version of the DevTestALMPlugin-x64.exe plugin.
