Whether UIM can show what all the softwares can be installed in a server?

There is no out of the box probe / feature to capture the inventory of the installed software on the server using UIM .
However you can try using a combination of multiple probes to run commands and capture the output. For example you can use nexec probe to execute commands and capture the output using a logmon probe
