    Hello,

     

    we are using USD Version 11.2.

     

    We are now trying to Access our Helpdesk URL on IE 11 on a Windows 10 powered Notebook and we are getting the errore "page can not be displayed"?

     

    Can anyone help us here?

    SD 11.2 has been end of support for some time (SAP NetWeaver Portal )

     

    Obviously, it was never certified for use with IE11 or Windows 10.

     

    Are you able to access the SDM URL using a supported SDM 11.2 web browser (i.e. IE7) on another workstation?

    We are still on 11.2 transitioning to SDM 14.1. We currently use IE11 without issue for Unicenter 11.2. On occasion depending on the individuals Windows OS where the client is run, we have had to add the URL server to the 'compatibility view settings' of IE11 in order for functions like attachments and menus to work. Try restarting the services for 11.2 on the application server, and check the stdlog files for errors. After service restart, 'run' at a CMD prompt 'pdm_status' to see if any functions are not running.

     

    Does 11.2 work on other PC's configurations, where your Win10 is the exception ?

    On Win7 and Win8.X clients we have activated this “compatibility view settings” also and it worked fine. On Win10 clients, using IE 10/11 it is not working, even we have activated this setting. With google chrome, the access to our system from Win10 clients is working. This is the strange thing there…

     

     

     

    I can not see any error in the server log….

     

     

     

     

     

    Any other suggestion to solve the issue?

    In addition to the "Compatibility View Settings", have you tried:

     

    1.  Add the CA SDM URL to intranet zone.
    2.  Make sure that the Documentation Mode is set to Default.

    I have had some second hand accounts of Win10 Edge Browser settings causing a few issues with 11.2 users. IE11 was inadvertently affected by Edge. Maybe an area you can look into as well. Sorry, I could not be more help here. 11.2 will soon be a distant memory for my organisation.
