Creating this question on behalf of our customer : Azrina Ariff

We have an issue when trying to fail over to the secondary server, we encounter the problem LLAWP under the HTTPD start up is failed and got the error message "Unable to load SiteMinder host configuration object or host configuration file".

Would copy over the smhost.conf into the secondary server or re-registering the secondary server to the Siteminder solve the problem?

Hi Azrina / Ujwol,

In addition to above tech article, moving SmHost.conf from first server to second server might not help. You need to check connectivity and do a re-registration, in case registration is failed between webagent & policy server.
