CA APM 10.3 Metrics Explosion

I have a single EM and Collector instance, which collects from 100+ agents.   A few of the agents have historical metrics that exploded a while back.   I would like the cleanup to be limited to just those few agents, but I haven't found a way to do this.   I opened a Support case ( 00526683 ) for the same, and the engineer also wasn't aware of any levers to do so.   So he suggested I ask the question in the Community.   Below is the documentation I used to educate myself on the possibilities, before I opened the case.    If anyone has additional documentation and/or tips, I'd love to hear it!   Thank you.
