I'm not sure whether integration is supported with BMC Remedy 9.1

However 'sdgtw' probe could be setup for integration but currently it supports BMC Remedy 8.1

Thank you sinab12 and Iulian - Unfortunately Remedy version is 9.1.  Have to wait until the latest supported version i guess.

    Hi zahar_ismail

In addition to sinab12's answer, there is a remedygtw probe but, again, it's only been certified with BMC Remedy up to v8.1. Here are the release notes.

I hope it answers your question.

    This is what documentation tells.--

The Service Desk Gateway (sdgtw) probe acts as a gateway between CA Unified Infrastructure Management and service desk applications. Generating an incident helps the service desk user to take corrective actions to resolve an issue. The probe periodically polls the service desk for the status of incidents and updates the corresponding alarms. CA Normalization Integration Management Service Management (CA NIM SM) is used to create a connection between CA UIM and service desk applications, through the webservices exposed by these applications. For more information about the integration, see CA Normalized Integration Management for Service Management.

But i am unable to find CA Normalized Integration Management for Service Management in download or anywhere in CA site. There is a documentation but the download connects back to CA sharepoint link which is not accessible for us.

Please help, if some has successfully done it in the past..

    Sankar -

The sdgtw probe actually installs the CA Normalized Integration Management (NIM) API when you install the probe.  The NIM API can be found in the NIMSM_WORKSPACE directory installed in the sdgtw probe directory.  There is no need to download CA NIM and install this yourself in order to use the sdgtw probe.  The link to the CA NIM documentation was provided on the sdgtw probe's Wiki page to provide information on how the sdgtw probe creates connections and interacts with the configured service desk applications (by using the NIM API).

Hope this clarifies this for you.
