Hello, how can i disable "Agent Stats", "CPU", "Host", "NIO", "UDP" metrics from agent in Agent.profile?
Most of that would come from the platform monitor, depending on the platform, you would need to remove relevant .so or .dll files (and then you may as well remove the corresponding .jar files as well) from the /core/ext folder of the agent.
For Agent Stats, this is a lot of supportability data coming from different agent extensions.
There is a toggle for this for Browser Agent or BRTM (will depend on your agent release:
introscope.agent.browseragent.sustainabilityMetrics.enabled=true (after APM 10.2)
that would need to be set to false
I wouldn't expect a performance impact on the application or on Enterprise Manager for having reported these metrics, so what is the reason to want to disable all of them ?
To turn off UDP and NIO, in toggles-typical or toggles-full, change TurnOn to TurnOff and restart the Agent.
As for the others, I would have to look into that.
I looked and could not find anything that would disable "Agent Stats", "CPU", "Host" in the pbd's.

Any thoughts on this?
I also posed the question on our internal board as well. Someone may or may not answer.
David thanks for the help.
I told the client that but they still don't want them...
Why does the client want to shut down these particular metrics? What’s the problem exactly?
This isn't a performance problem. The client just don't wanna see this metrics.
