Layer7 API Management

  • 1.  Space sizing parameters

In order to install Gateway/API Dev Portal/ESM, what parameters needs to consider for sizing. We have gone through installation documents which provides minimum required space but there no much justification on space sizing selection. Like is it depends on load (number of API calls/min?)

    Hi Kareem,

The gateway product and the API's you publish does not take much space. What takes the maximum space is the audit logs. You should have a plan to either disable any audit logging or to have audit logging in a differt partion. There are several  knowledge documents with support.ca.com which describe how to do this.

    Hope it helps
