GSVX293E CICS logger has discarded <count> records
The CICS logger has discarded records due to a buffer full condition. More records are being queued to the CICS logger than can be processed.
Possible reasons for condition:
- The dispatching priority of the SYSVIEW address space is less than that of the CICS address space.
- Too many CICS address spaces are queuing records to a single CICS logger. Create an addition logger. The same set log streams can be used by multiple loggers.
As far as the issue with QuickRef not finding the message, check the version of QuickRef that you are using. The GSVX293I was changed to GSVX293E in SYSVIEW 14.1. The SYSVIEW 14.1 product information was added to QuickRef in version 8.1.
