  • 1.  Emailgtw probe supports gmail server in Linux Hub?

Is it possible to configure emailgtw probe to send emails using a gmail account in hub running CentOS? What is the required configuration?

I installed the openssl and enable the Access for less secure apps option in my Gmail account but unsuccessful.

     #emailgtw #cauim #gmail #openssl

    Hi Lebastos

It should work on CentOS 5 and 6. Not compatible on 7, though:

    Hi,

As for gmail, according to the documentation it should work.

To configure the probe with the Gmail SMTP server, follow these steps:

    1. Clear the Ignore TLS check box in the SMTP tab.
    2. Login to your Gmail account.
    3. Go to the Google Less Secure Apps web page.
    4. Enable the Access for less secure apps option.

    Hi Guys,

Thank you for your prompt response, but I am using a compatible version of CentOS (v6) and followed all the recommendation and this workaround to Gmail server described in the release note, but unsuccessful.

An additional information I am able to send an email through the gmail server using openssl from the CLI of the server that emailgtw probe was installed.

    BR,

At this point a support case with CA would be the way to go, to analyze why its not working.

    Thanks
