Hi ,

We are upgrading clarity from 14.1 to 14.2 . the upgrade script is getting stuck in the middle during content package installation . Kindly let us know if any one has any solution for this .We have successfully upgraded to 14.2 in our test env with the same script but while doing the same in production its getting stuck ..

What is the error that you are receiving here?

No Error Jeevan . The script is not proceeding further at the step of content package installation .

You might want to look at how long it has been stuck there and what is being executed in the DB. There might be some deadlock there.

i am seeing block in the database , will the execution be interrupted if i kill those blocking id .

This can happen if there is a blocked query on database level. Before doing the upgrade, please ensure all jobs are paused, all services are stopped and anything else that could be accessing the database (such as BO reporting - customizations, any integrations with third party tools), are stopped as well. Confirm with your DBA nothing is running and then try the upgrade again.

Hi Suman,

As per our DBA suggestion we increased the DB server RAM size from 8 GB to 16 GB and that resolved the issue .
