Hi everyone,

I am trying to transfer a file between two CAWA DE agents (both Linux and 11.3 version), the type is Upload tranfer. When i execute the application y FTP job returns a suberror "Misplaced LF". 

Any idea why ocurrs that error?.

I have attached file to transfer and ftp job configuration.

Hi Isaac,

I see you are trying to use ftp job, but you are connecting to port 22, which is the default port for sftp.  Are you sure your ftp server is running on port 22?   Also please confirm if you are trying to use sftp or ftp transfer.

Searching past cases in our internal database, I see references to System Agent R11.3 SP4 Incr 2 where this issue is fixed, but I could not find this information in our release notes.  I would try to fix the port issue first.  If that does not help, try with a recent agent.

I specified in the agentparm.txt ftp.portclient=21 returns "Reset by Peer" and 22 returns "Misplaced LF". I also tried with ftp.serverport=21 and 22 but i got the same results. both version agents are 11.3.4. I am trying to execute a FTP job.
