  • 1.  SDM 14.1, C2 - Knowledge searching on words beginning with infra

    Hi everyone,

I'm seeing behavior with the knowledge searching that I can't figure out.  When we search on words that start with 'infra' (examples: infrared, or infrastructure), it only searches on the part of the word after 'infra'.  So it searches on 'red' or 'structure'.  I've looked and 'infra' is not defined as a noise word.  I even tried creating special terms for both of these words, then ran the re-index, but it still will not search on the entire word.  It's happening in both our test and production environments.  Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

    Thanks.

    Hi Tammy

I reproduced the same behavior on the r14.1 C2 and C3 Japanese version at will. I suppose it is a bug.

Could you raise new case to CA Support to create/provide the patch to you in future?

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Kosei.  Maybe I'll submit a support ticket at some point.  This isn't that important, and we have enough open tickets right now.  But it's good to know that it's not just me, or something I can fix on my own.

    Thanks.
