    Wanted to share this KB article from CA with instructions how to use a MS SQL Server named instance with Jaspersoft/CABI 6.  This contradicts some of CA’s documentation and Communities' posts that only an unnamed (default) instance will work.

    Were you able to install JasperSoft successfully on a named instance following TEC1752693?

    Yes, i have it installed on a named MS SQL 2008 instance.  No errors that I can tell.  Sorry for the late response.
