  • 1.  Can CA APM/Wily perform capacity planning?

    My current company is running WAS 7 & 8.5, WebLogic 10.3, SiteMinder 12.5, Oracle ED 11G, and Layer7 9.1.  Can CA APM or Wily be used to perform capacity planning for these technologies?  We currently do not have CA APM/Wily in the enterprise, and would like to know if it can do this in addition for performance metrics and deep-dive analysis on issues.  Thanks!

    Hi Anthony,

    a little longer answer: you can use the performance data gathered by CA APM for capacity planning. There is no capacity calculator built into CA APM but you can export the data into Excel or any other solution for capacity planning, e.g. CA offers CA Capacity Management specifically for this purpose.
