Hi Fernando,
> About recording new transactions on recording session, how CEM knows when the transaction finished?
- For the CEM recording sessions option, the CEM/TIM relies on the user to provide the transaction demarcation/boundary.
- After starting the recording session if you execute the transaction with a single web click from your designed Client and then hit "Stop", that tells CEM the first transaction has finished. So typically you will hit "Stop" after each web click.
- Then select "Record Next Transaction" and continue with same process until you have finished & then hit "Finished Recording"
> Also do we have some way to filter the new transactions we want? (Example: filter by a specific value of parameters )
- Aside from the options on the UI for Client IP Address, Browser Language Pattern, Default Character Encoding, Content Types, no other filtering is available.
- With the Client IP Address being the main filter that is normally enough to generate "sensible transactions"
I hope that helps?
If you still have problems please provide more info, screenshots etc and will try to assist further.
Thanks
Lynn
