  • 1.  About Recording Session

    Hello guys,

About recording new transactions on recording session, how CEM knows when the transaction finished? Also do we have some way to filter  the new transactions we want? (Example: filter by a specific value of parameters  ) Because here, sometimes the same URL can call 6 times the same transaction or can call almost 100 times the same transaction. And filter each one its too much time.

    Regards,

    Hi Fernando,

    > About recording new transactions on recording session, how CEM knows when the transaction finished?

    1. For the CEM recording sessions option, the CEM/TIM relies on the user to provide the transaction demarcation/boundary.
    2. After starting the recording session if you execute the transaction with a single web click from your designed Client and then hit "Stop", that tells CEM the first transaction has finished. So typically you will hit "Stop" after each web click.
    3. Then select "Record Next Transaction" and continue with same process until you have finished & then hit "Finished Recording"

    > Also do we have some way to filter  the new transactions we want? (Example: filter by a specific value of parameters  )

    1. Aside from the options on the UI for Client IP Address, Browser Language Pattern, Default Character Encoding, Content Types, no other filtering is available.
    2. With the Client IP Address being the main filter that is normally enough to generate "sensible transactions"

    I hope that helps?

If you still have problems please provide more info, screenshots etc and will try to assist further.

    Thanks
