    Hello,

is there way to update / regenerate UMP/USM Metrics MetricFamily tree?

RAM :s2 arise due to old (now removed) target  RAM :s2 but now I expect ony targets under PhysicalMemory: RAM 8, RAM 9 and RAM 10, ony last one is fine....

    Thank you

    Dear vrbto01

the metrics you see here are the metrics that are currently active for this device as per the s_qos_data table. If you have any obsolete sources being displayed, it would mean that there is probably still old qos data available for this. You could either delete those via the SLM portlet OR merge the old targets into the new targets if you want to keep the historic data (and a merge would make sense).

    Kind Regards,

    Hello,

    thank you MARTIN.

Actually S_QOS_DATA for this targets are deleted via SLM and no more present at the table.

There is as well no more graph availble for deleted targets.

Whats is still present is the already deleted "target/metrics" (for example RAM :s2) in the MetricFamily tree...

What is more confusing that is that if you click to deleted "target/metrics" you will get correct new graphs.

for example I click RAM :s2 at the tree and I got graphs for RAM 8 as you can see

So the tree / hierarchy is only partially updated. OR maybe not updated at all but rather only new "targets" added. For example RAM 10 is allright.

The metric family tree is build based on the inventory information published by SNMPcollector probe.

If you want to rebuild the inventory information, here is steps.

    1. select cs_key from CM_COMPUTER_SYSTEM where name = '<Device Name>'

    2. CTRL + P on discovery_server probe and select callback "remove_master_deviecs_by_cskeys"

    3. Input cs_key and execute.

    4. In SNMPcollector probe GUI, "Force Component Rediscovery" against the Device.

    Hello,

this HOWTO works. The USM MetricFamily is fine just after rediscovery of device is finished.

    Thank you very much
