    Hi,

From look at the screenshot, can you tell me below points:

    1. Is LISA able to run successfully Registry.exe file, please check whether its up and running.

    2. If above is Yes, then check while giving the Registry name in Workstation any spaces are present.

Let me know on the above points.

    Thanks,

    Abhi

For starting Registry; we ran startdefserver.bat; at that point it is not giving any error. But while stopping the services; we ran stopdefserver.bat; there we are getting error which i have posted below.

Please let me know what other things we need to check.

Is the Enterprise Dashboard Service running?

The Registry will need to connect to the Dashboard to authenticate the license every now and then. If it is unable to authenticate, the registry might throw some errors and you will not be able to connect to the registry service.

Enterprise dashboard is running but registry in it is in stopped state.

We tried to click validate Registry button; it is showing message as "Registry is stopped or does not exist".

What will be the next step to start the registry?

    Hi,

Which version of LISA are you running?

And instead of "startdefserver" batch file, can you just run Registry file and try to connect to it?

    Thanks,

    Abhi

Looks like you are on LISA 7.5.2.  The Enterprise Dashboard is optional so it will not need to be started.  This first error is saying you cannot connect to the Registry.  Is it local or remote?

The startdefservers.bat and stopdefservers.bat start and stop the Servers (not the Services).

The second error seems to think the Registry is not even running.

When you run startdefservers.bat did you get a message something like this?

    C:\Users\nunma04>cd C:\Lisa7.5.2\bin

    C:\Lisa7.5.2\bin>startdefservers.bat
    -------------------------------------------------
    Start Default Servers
    LISA_HOME: C:\LISA75~1.2\
    LISA bin: C:\LISA75~1.2\bin
    LISA tmp: C:\Users\nunma04\AppData\Local\Temp\lisa
    LISA Registry: Registry
    -------------------------------------------------

    Starting Registry
Stdout / Stderr redirected to C:\Users\nunma04\AppData\Local\Temp\lisa

    Starting Coordinator
Stdout / Stderr redirected to C:\Users\nunma04\AppData\Local\Temp\lisa

    Starting Simulator
Stdout / Stderr redirected to C:\Users\nunma04\AppData\Local\Temp\lisa

    Starting VSE
Stdout / Stderr redirected to C:\Users\nunma04\AppData\Local\Temp\lisa

Run C:\LISA75~1.2\bin\stopdefservers.bat to stop everything that was just started

    C:\Lisa7.5.2\bin>

Is this a local or shared install?

I am noticing from the first error that a lisa.user.properties file is being read.  Is is located under C:\Users\Administrator folder.

Can you post what is in this file?

    Hi,

Can you please raise a support case for this issue to take a look on local.properties file and network connectivity details on Registry and workstation machine.

    Thanks
